Suez Canal Transit || Services:

with local Authorities to ease any difficulties.
We offer very smooth S.C Transiting (North &
South ) at a very competitive dues / expenses and providing all concerned parties
(i.e. Owners, chatterers, operators and Managers) with the following :
Accurate D/A estimation (prior transit) to be as
close to the actual transit tolls as possible to avoid any extra remittance from
our principals.
Define Agency fees before transit, any other expenses
being added as per the official Port / Canal tariff endorsed with the official receipts.
Owners are advised on the best way for their ship to be ready for transit so no
unnecessary dues are calculated or extra tug or equipment is imposed on the vessel
.
Arrange for vsls transit by notifying all concerned
Authorities.
Make all necessary declarations and obtain approvals
from all parties concerned for special cargo on board ( IMO, Cement, …. etc).
Advising / providing vsls Master with S.C Authority
regulations in transiting the Suez Canal, along with all needed documentation by
the S.C Authority specially in case of vsl's first transit to ensure accurate vsl
measurement and trying to get the Authorized discount if applicable, also keeping
Master and all concerned parties duly posted with transiting schedule on daily basis
and asking vsl's Master to keep / maintain his vsl's arrival ETA and / or improve
same according to principals instructions.
Keep close contact with vsl from arrival at outer
anchorage in Port Said or Suez till it clears the Suez Canal and keeping owners
timely informed.
The vsl is promptly attended upon arrival and before
clearing by our trained staff at Port Said and Suez to coordinate with the Master
for a smooth transit and for any needed requirements.
Interfering in unusual situations and providing strong
assistance and legal support ( case needed ) to avoid or reduce any expected liabilities
/ fin.
Providing all needed services during vsl's transit
including : bunkering, supplies , crew
change, delivery of spare parts, handing of cash to Master, …. etc.
Regarding the suez Canal, Kindly note the following
:
There are three S.C. convoys each day as follows
:
A - One North bound S.C. convoy with the below details :
North bound convoy starts at 0600 hrs each day.
Suez Canal Authority considers the LAT 29 42.1 N
as arrival limit to register the ship to join. the North
bound convoy.
0100 hrs is the latest time for registry into the
North bound convoy for tanker vsls and 0300 hrs same day for bulk carrier leaving
Suez at 0600 hrs same day with payment of normal tolls .
Vsl
still can join the same day convoy if arriving after 0100 hrs but against payment
of extra tolls as flwg :
a) From
0100 hrs - 0300 hrs = 3% extra tolls.
b) From
0300 hrs – 0400 hrs = 5% extra tolls.
c) After 0400
hrs = 10% extra tolls ( subject to S.C Authority approval) .
B - Two South bound convoys with the below details:
N1 – starts at 0100 hrs .
N2 – starts at 0600 hrs
. S.C. Authority considering the
LAT 31 28.7 N as the limit . that
vsl must cross to be registered as arrived.
N1_:
Limit time to register a ship in the N1 convoy is
1900 hrs the day before transit day and vsl can join N1 of next day with payment
of normaltolls.
Still vsl can join the N1 of following day if arriving
later than 1900 hrs against payment of extra tolls as flwg:
1) From 1900 hrs
- 2100 hrs = 3% extra tolls.
2) From 2100 hrs
- 2200 hrs = 5% extra tolls.
3) After 2200
hrs = 10% extra tolls ( subject to S.C. Authority approval ) .
N2_:
Limit time to register a ship in the N2 convoy is
0300 hrs same day, so that vsl can
join
The N2 convoy with payment of normal tolls.
Still vsl can join the N2 convoy if arriving later
than 0300 hrs against payment of extra tolls As flwg :
1) From 0300 hrs
- 0400 hrs = 3% extra tolls.
2) From 0400 hrs
- 0500 hrs = 5% extra tolls.
3) After 0500
hrs = 10% extra tolls ( subject to S.C. Authority pproval ) .
* - Ballast chemical / oil tankers
are to be charged at the same rate of ballast oil tankers .

- Ballast combined carriers are to be charged at the rate of ballast dry bulk carriers
*** - Loaded combined carriers are to be charged according to the kind of cargo.
In case of Carrying
more than one type of cargo such carriers are to be charged at the rate of Petroleum
products tankers.
